I strive to provide engaging, meaningful art curriculum for all and to foster divergent and creative thinking skills in my students. My goal is to create a classroom atmosphere based on trust and respect, where every student feels comfortable sharing their ideas and exploring new ways of expressing themselves. I want students to feel empowered and motivated to openly discuss art, whether it’s their own work or the art of others. Through positive art critiques, they’ll learn how to reflect thoughtfully and confidently on their own creations, as well as those of their peers and professionals.
A year of varied Fine Arts instruction
My curriculum explores various 2D mediums, including watercolor, acrylic, and tempera, charcoal, graphite, pastels and more.
We will also work with 3D mediums such as fibers, Paper Mache, clay and more. Additionally, one lesson a month will be dedicated to art history and studying art collections from museums around the world. I look forward to working with the Wildflowers community!
